Devotional music has proved its popularity by having the  business of around Rs. 1 billion a year. After film music, devotional  music generates maximum sales and it is expecting to get increase in  coming years. Devotional music not only has good physical sales of CD  but people are also downloading these songs on mobile.</p>
<p>According  to Times Music, devotional music has 30% more sales than any other kind  of music and because of this they release out devotional music albums  almost every month. Some albums released by Times music are “Krishna  forever”, “Living with Sai”, etc.</p>
<p>According to Hindu religion,  basic concept of these songs came from Sama Veda. These songs are sung  by devotees in a group and have repetition of various words and phrases.  It tells us about various glories and acts of Gods and Goddesses that  they had in their lives on earth.</p>
<p>Devotional music is the only  kind of music about which we can say that it is very compulsory in life.  In India, at the time of festivals devotional music is played in every  home. Even on regular basis around 90% people in our country listen to  these songs in morning. <p>New  singers are getting popular quickly by recording this type of music.  There is an example of Sanjeev Sharma from New   Delhi who bagged a  contract with Venus music before 5 years and created so many albums of  this kind. He became very popular by accepting singing as career.</p>
<p>So,  devotional songs are very informative, popular and easy so that  everyone can sing it and people’s mind get relax by listening to the  devotional songs.</p>
