Scholarship in India
Scholarship is a positive reinforcement to bright and meritorious students. Special emphasis is on the terms of overall growth of student by providing him or her with the maximum possible opportunities and resources. The national scholarships include mainly aims at providing a student with financial help in order to help them sustain their quality study irrespective of the financial position of their family and thus make him or her able to meet the day to day needs during advancement of higher studies until completion. Many schemes like providing scholarships to the non Hindi speaking states for post matriculation to Ph.D. level has been started by the government of India. The rate of scholarship depends upon the course stage of study. The ministry of social justice and empowerment has proposed a scheme for students with disabilities. There are more such schemes which have been enforced as the years passed by.
The external scholarships in India are entertained only for those fields of subjects which are present in the donor country and side by side the national needs are also kept in mind. The ministry of human resource development or the department of education administrators has been supervising external scholarships of only those countries which are under different programs like the cultural exchange programs. Some of the countries which are offering external scholarships for India are China, Korea, Japan, Italy, Norway, Turkey, Belgium, New Zealand and more.
